Since 1987, our friends and fellow travelers
have helped us understand some of the challenges they faced
as they considered going on safari. Their questions ranged
from health and safety to the selection of which countries
and destinations to visit. After reading books and sales brochures
and reviewing Web sites in pursuit of answers, they often
felt frustrated by the somewhat bewildering deluge of information.
Many of those who have traveled with us have told us that
what set us apart was our focus on helping them explore every
question and concern so their choices would lead them to a
successful safari – one that met their needs and exceeded
their expectations.
At Safari Professionals Unlimited, we do not sell safari
packages. We have no predetermined itineraries that often
reflect a tour operator’s personal bias or most profitable
destinations.
We help you plan your safari by identifying your unique needs
and desires, as well as your concerns and expectations. Helping
you prioritize each of these provides the path to choosing
which elements will make up your personal safari.
All of this is done through a planned and highly personal
dialog. Using a combination of telephone calls, emails, and
printed materials, we explore each of the elements of a great
safari with you. Once safari planning begins in earnest, we
create your own personal, password-protected website to use
as a planning and preparation tool.
Our commitment to you is to help you create and enjoy the
vacation of your life!
We’ve been asked why we would put so much effort into
answering questions before someone commits themselves to a
Safari Professionals Unlimited safari. Our answer is simple.
We believe the most important action a person can take that
will help the people and wildlife of Africa is to visit in
person. If we help you do that we are confident you will help
others understand the magic you discovered on safari. Many
of those you tell will eventually follow in your footsteps.
