The newest “Dream Safari” is based on an itinerary created for a couple who wished to safari in South Africa on their honeymoon. During Safari Professionals’ online safari planning meeting, they identified their safari priorities, which included Cape Town, the Cape Winelands and the private wildlife reserves near Kruger and then added, “We’d like a few days on a beautiful quiet beach at the end.”

When the staff of Safari Professionals showed them photos of the Indigo Bay Island Resort on Mozambique’s Bazaruto Island, they quickly said that was where they wanted to end their honeymoon. Indigo Bay offered a unique combination of features that attracted this couple – not the least of which is the resort’s reputation for exceptional comfort and cuisine. Its remoteness promised a calm, pristine beach – far away from the hustle and bustle of the Caribbean beaches they had previously visited. And, in their words, “We’ve never been to such an exotic beach.” It was Indigo Bay’s location on the Indian Ocean that impressed them, and they loved the fact that they would be able to venture out and snorkel among the coral reefs.
